My VLC player is all screwy right now, so I had to watch this on Hulu. With the exception of the 800 commercial breaks and whoever did Zenigata’s english voice, excellent movie. Although, I don’t think there is such a thing as a bad Lupin movie! =)
My last Lupin film for now, but I’m definitely riding this anime train for a while.
I especially love it when the good guys and bad guys team up to defeat an enemy. Autobots team up with Decepticons, Sonic teams up with Eggman, and Lupin teams up with Zenigata. LOVE IT!
Not fond of blonde Fujiko. Also, would have been an interesting twist if Don Dolune was Lupin’s papa daddy. Then make Lara his sister/half sister and make him feel weird for staring at her nakie boobs.
I rather enjoyed the more serious tone of this movie. Also, I like to imagine that all the impostors were really just clones produced from Lupin’s Kage Bunshin no Jutsu.
LoL I was watching some I Dream Of Jeanie right before I randomly selected this title.
Solid special throughout, but that opening heist scene was incredibly funny! It’s like the most ridiculous game of chess ever played. Zenigata is like, “I knew you you were going to send a balloon dummy filled with pink tear gas at us so you can escape through the elevator, so I caged the elevator!” And Lupin’s all like, “HA! I knew you were going to do that, so I turned the elevator into a rocketship! Zoom, zoom, bitches!” You’s a clever girl, ain’tcha Lupin?
Time Travel? In my Lupin the 3rd?
I would love to see a Lupin/Cowboy Bebop crossover. They could use the time travel from this and go into the Cowboy Bebop universe. Jigen and Jet? YESH PLASE!
I’m super excited for the Lupin vs Detective Conan movie that’s coming out this month, so I figure why not do some clean up on the movies and TV specials I haven’t seen. First up, Kutabare Nosutoradamusu!
Very much a Guillermo Del Toro movie. Honestly can’t tell the difference between this and Pacific Rim.
Another Triple H movie were he’s an ex-con trying to go straight. But just when he thought he was out… they pull him back in.
Being 40 and married seems depressing as shit. I’m glad I’m 20 something and forever alone. Also, kids suck.
Like my brother with Star Wars, I’ve seen enough parodies to have a hardy knowledge of The Shawshank Redemption. Unlike my brother, I have seen all the Star Wars and now The Shawshank Redemption. Beautiful movie.
A B-Movie about zombies with the Kim Possible chick from Even Stevens? Not as good as you think. Outside of Zombie Nation (a movie so bad I stopped watching after 10 minutes), Infected is probably the worse zombie movie I’ve seen.
A delightful mix of cute and funny and awkward. The kind of awkward that you got to pause the movie and shake off the awkwardiness. A lot of pausing in this movie…
I take that back. Not a delightful mix. It took me 180 minutes to watch 100 minutes of Korean Cinema.
Still…great movie. I recommend taking the 3 hours to watch this. Or 1h40m if you’re a speed watcher that can watch things at super normal speed.
